Away In a Manger

 

Away in a manger, no crib for a bed,

The little Lord Jesus laid down his sweet head.

The stars in the bright sky looked down where he lay,

The little Lord Jesus asleep in the hay.

저 멀리 어느 구유에, 누울 자리 없어

아기 주 예수는 고운 머리를 눕히셨네

 하늘의 별들이 아기 예수 누운 곳을 내려다보고

아기 주 예수는 건초에서 잠들었네

 

The cattle are lowing, the baby awakes,

but little Lord Jesus no crying he makes.

I love thee, Lord Jesus! Look down from the sky,

and stay by my cradle till morning is nigh.

소들이 우니, 아기 잠 깨었네

그러나 아기  주 예수는 울지 않아요

주 예수님  당신을 사랑해요. 하늘에서 내려다보시고

아침이 다가 올 때까지 제 요람 곁에 계셔주세요.

 

Be near me, Lord Jesus; I ask thee to stay

close by me forever, and love me, I pray.

Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care,

and take us to heaven, to live with thee there.

제 곁에 계셔주세요, 주 예수님 영원히 제 곁에 가까이 계시기를

그리고 저를 사랑해 주시기를  청원하며 기도 드립니다

모든 사랑스런 아이들을 당신의 따뜻한 보살핌 속에 축복하시고,

저희를  하늘나라로 데려가 주세요. 당신과 함께 그 곳에 살도록.
